## How to connect Affinity

Open Connections in your workspace and choose Connect next to Affinity. You sign in to Affinity in a new tab, and that's the whole setup. Name the account and choose Workspace under who can use it. That's the only time anyone signs in: your whole team, shared chats and Loops can use Affinity from then on. Or skip ahead and ask for the work: Maito sends you a link if Affinity isn't connected yet.

### What is the Affinity MCP server URL?

Affinity publishes it at https://mcp.affinity.co/mcp, and it signs in with OAuth, so there's no key to copy.

### Can I use the Affinity MCP server from Slack?

Yes. Connect it to Maito once, then mention Maito in any Slack channel or send it a direct message. The same connection works by email and from Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Codex, Grok or Muse.

### Does everyone on my team have to connect Affinity?

No. One person connects it once and chooses Workspace. Then everyone in the workspace, shared chats and Loops can use Affinity, without signing in themselves. Choose Only me instead to keep it to your own chats.

### Do I have to connect Affinity before I ask?

No. If a request needs Affinity and it isn't connected yet, your agent sends you a link. Connect it, and the work picks up where it stopped.

### Can I limit what Maito does in Affinity?

Yes. After you connect, turn off any Affinity tools you don't want Maito to use, such as the ones that change data. Tools Affinity adds later stay off until you turn them on.
