## How to connect B12

Open Connections in your workspace and choose Connect next to B12. It needs no separate sign-in: choose Connect and it's ready. Name the account and choose Workspace under who can use it. That's the only time anyone signs in: your whole team, shared chats and Loops can use B12 from then on. Or skip ahead and ask for the work: Maito sends you a link if B12 isn't connected yet.

### What is the B12 MCP server URL?

B12 publishes it at https://mcp.b12.io/mcp, and it needs no sign-in.

### Can I use the B12 MCP server from Slack?

Yes. Connect it to Maito once, then mention Maito in any Slack channel or send it a direct message. The same connection works by email and from Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Codex, Grok or Muse.

### Does everyone on my team have to connect B12?

No. One person connects it once and chooses Workspace. Then everyone in the workspace, shared chats and Loops can use B12, without signing in themselves. Choose Only me instead to keep it to your own chats.

### Do I have to connect B12 before I ask?

No. If a request needs B12 and it isn't connected yet, your agent sends you a link. Connect it, and the work picks up where it stopped.

### Can I limit what Maito does in B12?

Yes. After you connect, turn off any B12 tools you don't want Maito to use, such as the ones that change data. Tools B12 adds later stay off until you turn them on.
