## How to connect Have I Been Pwned

Open Connections in your workspace and choose Connect next to Have I Been Pwned. It needs no separate sign-in: choose Connect and it's ready. Name the account and choose Workspace under who can use it. That's the only time anyone signs in: your whole team, shared chats and Loops can use Have I Been Pwned from then on. Or skip ahead and ask for the work: Maito sends you a link if Have I Been Pwned isn't connected yet.

Have I Been Pwned publishes it at https://haveibeenpwned.com/mcp, and it needs no sign-in.

### Can I use the Have I Been Pwned MCP server from Slack?

Yes. Connect it to Maito once, then mention Maito in any Slack channel or send it a direct message. The same connection works by email and from Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Codex, Grok or Muse.

### Does everyone on my team have to connect Have I Been Pwned?

No. One person connects it once and chooses Workspace. Then everyone in the workspace, shared chats and Loops can use Have I Been Pwned, without signing in themselves. Choose Only me instead to keep it to your own chats.

### Do I have to connect Have I Been Pwned before I ask?

No. If a request needs Have I Been Pwned and it isn't connected yet, your agent sends you a link. Connect it, and the work picks up where it stopped.

### Can I limit what Maito does in Have I Been Pwned?

Yes. After you connect, turn off any Have I Been Pwned tools you don't want Maito to use, such as the ones that change data. Tools Have I Been Pwned adds later stay off until you turn them on.
