# Turso MCP: Use Turso in Slack and Email

Source: https://maito.app/integrations/turso

Connect the Turso MCP server to Maito with one sign-in, and your whole team can use it from Slack or email: “How many rows are in the events table this week?”

Turso hosts SQLite-based databases you can manage and query with SQL. Connect the Turso MCP server to Maito once, and everyone on your team can use Turso from Slack, by email, or from Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Codex, Grok or Muse. Nobody else has to sign in.

Create a new database called analytics-staging.

Maito uses Turso to do the work and replies where you asked.

## How to connect Turso

Open Connections in your workspace and choose Connect next to Turso. You sign in to Turso in a new tab, and that's the whole setup. Name the account and choose Workspace under who can use it. That's the only time anyone signs in: your whole team, shared chats and Loops can use Turso from then on. Or skip ahead and ask for the work: Maito sends you a link if Turso isn't connected yet.

## Questions

### What is the Turso MCP server URL?

Turso publishes it at https://mcp.turso.ai/mcp, and it signs in with OAuth, so there's no key to copy.

### Can I use the Turso MCP server from Slack?

Yes. Connect it to Maito once, then mention Maito in any Slack channel or send it a direct message. The same connection works by email and from Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Codex, Grok or Muse.

### Does everyone on my team have to connect Turso?

No. One person connects it once and chooses Workspace. Then everyone in the workspace, shared chats and Loops can use Turso, without signing in themselves. Choose Only me instead to keep it to your own chats.

### Do I have to connect Turso before I ask?

No. If a request needs Turso and it isn't connected yet, your agent sends you a link. Connect it, and the work picks up where it stopped.

### Can I limit what Maito does in Turso?

Yes. After you connect, turn off any Turso tools you don't want Maito to use, such as the ones that change data. Tools Turso adds later stay off until you turn them on.
