## How do you book travel within your corporate travel policy?

To book travel within your corporate travel policy, tell Maito where, when and from where. Maito checks the policy it has learned, searches the web for flights and hotels, keeps the options inside the limits, flags rules like notice periods, and writes a summary with totals you can forward.

**Tom** (9:15 AM):

find flights and a hotel for Berlin, Nov 3 to 5. I'm flying from New York.

**Maito** (9:24 AM):

Three options within policy. The policy says economy under $900 return and hotels under $220 a night. Prices are from the web as of 9:20 AM and can change.

**1\. Cheapest:** nonstop out Nov 2 at 6:25 PM, back Nov 5 at 11:40 AM. $742. Hotel near Alexanderplatz, $178 a night.  
**2\. Best timing:** one stop, leaves Nov 2 at 1:10 PM. $811. Hotel in Mitte, $205 a night.  
**3\. Closest to the office:** nonstop, $868. Hotel in Kreuzberg, $196 a night.

Catch: the policy needs 14 days notice. Nov 3 is 15 days out, so tomorrow is the last day to book within the rule.

I haven't booked anything. You choose and book.

Prices move and it can't hold a fare. It doesn't book, pay or approve exceptions to the policy.

### Does it book the trip?

No. It finds options and you choose and book. Maito doesn't pay or book for anyone.

### Where does it get our policy?

From what your team has shared with it, such as fare and hotel limits and notice periods. If a limit isn't known, it asks.

### Are the prices exact?

They come from the web at the time it checked and can change, so it says when it looked.
