## How do you build the evidence file for a chargeback?

To build the evidence file for a chargeback, tell Maito the dispute. It pulls the order, the carrier's delivery record, customer emails and any refunds, arranges them as a timeline, flags anything that could weaken the case and attaches a PDF. You submit it before the deadline. Maito can't.

The owner collects screenshots and builds a timeline by hand under a deadline.

**Timeline:** ordered Oct 3, shipped Oct 5, carrier shows delivered Oct 9 at 2:14 PM to the order address. On Oct 11 the customer emailed "thanks, it arrived."

That email is your strongest evidence. Catch: on Oct 12 you refunded $20 for a scuffed box. The processor may read that as a problem with the order, so I added a note explaining it.
