To check UTM links before a campaign launches, share the link sheet with Maito. It opens every link, confirms the page loads, checks that each has the UTM tags you require and spots mismatches such as Email and email. You get a list of problems by row and a corrected copy of the sheet. ## How it's done today Broken or untracked links get found after the campaign ends. ## What Maito does 1. Collect links from emails, ads and posts 2. Check each loads and has the right tags 3. List problems ## Example **Priya** (4:30 PM): check the links in next week's campaign. Sheet attached: winter-links.xlsx **Maito** (4:37 PM): 34 links checked. 27 are fine, 7 have problems. **Broken (2):** • Row 12: northstar.example/webinar-oct28 returns a 404. The page is at /webinars/oct-28. • Row 19: typo in the domain, 'northstar.exmple'. **No campaign tag (5):** rows 3, 4, 8, 22 and 30 have utm\_source but no utm\_campaign, so they'd show up as unattributed in analytics. Not counted above: rows 26 and 27 use utm\_medium=Email and utm\_medium=email. Analytics will report them as two different mediums. Attached: winter-links-fixed.xlsx with all 9 edits highlighted. Your agent sends you a link to sign in. ## What it won't do It checks that links load and are tagged, not that your analytics setup reports them correctly. Pages behind a login need credentials in the Vault. ## Questions ### What does it check on each link? That the page loads, that utm\_source, utm\_medium and utm\_campaign are present, and that spelling and case match across rows. ### Where does the link list come from? A spreadsheet attached in Slack or email, or one in Google Drive, Box, Dropbox, Notion or Microsoft 365. ### Does it change my original sheet?
