## How do you draft a performance review summary?

To draft a performance review summary, ask Maito in Slack for the person and period. It pulls completed work from your task tracker and notes and feedback from your files, groups them into wins, themes and open goals with links, and attaches a draft the manager edits before writing the review.

Help me prep Sam's review. Pull their wins and feedback from the year.

**Maito** (11:22 AM):

• Cut first-response time from 4h to 1h 40m  
• Led the refund-policy rewrite, shipped Mar 12  
• Trained 2 new hires, both fully on rotation by June

**Feedback themes (3):** clear writing, calm under pressure, and 3 notes asking for earlier escalation of billing bugs.

**Goals:** 4 of 5 met. The fifth, a help-centre revamp, was moved to 2027 in July.

**Catch:** 7 of the 9 wins and most feedback are from after June. The first half has fewer written notes, so ask Sam what's missing.

Attached: sam-review-prep.docx. The review itself is yours to write.

## What it won't do

Maito only sees work that is written down in your tools. It cannot judge performance or know what a manager observed in person.

## Questions

### Where does the evidence come from?

From your task tracker, such as Linear or Asana, and your files in Google Drive, Box, Dropbox, Notion or Microsoft 365.

### Does it rate the person?

No. It collects the evidence and the themes. The manager writes the rating and the review.

### Can it include peer feedback?

Yes, if the notes are in the files you connect. It shows what it found and says what is missing.
