# Daily Construction Site Report, Drafted for You

## How do you draft the daily construction site report?

To draft the daily construction site report, schedule a Loop for the end of the day. Maito builds the report from the notes form, deliveries, time punches and the weather, shows what does not add up, such as a missing crew member, asks the supervisor about causes it should not guess, and posts the draft in Slack.

**On site:** 8 punches on the time clock. Your notes name 7: Eli is missing.  
**Work:** framing, level 2 east. Plumbing rough-in, unit 3.  
**Deliveries:** 2 pallets drywall at 8:40 AM.  
**Delays:** you wrote 'framing inspection not done'. I left the cause blank.  
**Safety:** none recorded.

Two questions before you sign: was Eli on site, and why was the inspection missed?

**Carl** (4:41 PM):

Eli was on the delivery. Inspector never showed, rain pushed the schedule. Stopped work 10 to 1.

**Maito** (4:42 PM):

Updated: Eli added to attendance, delay recorded as 'inspector did not attend; rain stop 10 AM to 1 PM, as reported by Carl'. Ready for your signature.

## What it won't do

It reports what the notes, punches and deliveries show. Anything nobody recorded, such as a safety event, will not appear.

### Where does the information come from?

A notes form in Typeform or Tally, time punches from Harvest or Toggl, and files in Google Drive, Box, Dropbox, Notion or Microsoft 365.

### Does it guess why work was delayed?

No. It leaves the cause blank and asks the supervisor in Slack.

### Who signs the report?

The supervisor. Maito posts a draft and updates it after replies, but it does not submit or sign.
