## How do you schedule a meeting across calendars?

To schedule a meeting across calendars, tell Maito who needs to attend. It checks the calendars it can see, works out times that fit each person's working day across time zones, notes clock changes, and emails the options to anyone it can't see. It sends the invite after you approve.

## Example

**Kate** (9:40 AM):

find an hour next week for me, Dana and the Acme team: Ravi and Mei in Singapore.

**Maito** (9:42 AM):

Kate and Dana's calendars share 6 free hours. Next week is the awkward part. Clocks in Berlin go back on Oct 25, so the gap to Singapore grows from 6 to 7 hours.

Two slots work for everyone's working day:  
• Tue Oct 27, 9:00 AM Berlin (4:00 PM Singapore)  
• Wed Oct 28, 9:30 AM Berlin (4:30 PM Singapore)

I can't see Ravi and Mei's calendars, so I've emailed both slots to Ravi and asked him to pick. I'll send the invite as soon as he does.

**Maito** (11:15 AM):

Ravi picked Wednesday. Invite sent for Oct 28, 9:30 to 10:30 AM Berlin, to you, Dana, Ravi and Mei. Mei is copied on the thread.

## What it won't do

It can't see calendars that aren't connected, so those people are asked by email. It doesn't know about preferences nobody told it.

## Questions

### Whose calendars can it see?

Those connected to it through Google Calendar, Microsoft 365, Cal.com or Calendly. For others it emails the options and waits.

### Does it send invites on its own?

No. It proposes slots and sends the invite after approval.

### Does it handle time zone changes?

Yes. It points out daylight saving changes that move the gap between locations.
