To find new grants to apply for, tell Maito your program, ages served, budget and location. Each month Maito searches the web, reads each funder's guidelines page, posts matches with amounts and deadlines, and flags any funder whose rules you would not meet, so you spend time only on real fits. ## How it's done today Grant research happens when someone has time. ## What Maito does 1. Letter of intent due Nov 15. • **Wonka Family Foundation**, $25,000-$40,000. Due Dec 1. • **Globex Community Grants**, $15,000. Rolling, quarterly review. • **Hooli Education Trust**, up to $60,000. Due Jan 12. • **Stark Reads Initiative**, $20,000. Due Dec 10. **The catch:** Hooli requires an annual budget under $2 million. Ours is $2.4 million, so we aren't eligible. I'll start with the Initech letter of intent and post the draft here. ## How to set it up On a schedule Find new grants to apply for Ask your agent “On the 1st of each month, search the web for grants that fit our literacy program (ages 6 to 12, budget under $2.5M, based in Ohio) and post matches with deadlines and amounts in #development.” ## What it won't do It can miss grants that aren't posted online or that need an invitation. Guidelines change, so confirm eligibility with the funder before you apply. ## Questions ### Where does it search? The web, reading each funder's own guidelines page the day it checks. No extra tool needs to be connected. ### Can it start the application? Yes. Tell it which to start and it drafts from your past applications in Drive.
