## How do you flag risky clauses in a contract?

To flag risky clauses in a contract, give Maito the file and name your standard terms in Drive. It reads the agreement, compares liability, payment, renewal and governing law with your standard, and lists each difference with its section number. Legal gets a short list to decide on instead of a full read.

### Which files can it read?

Contracts in the file tools you connect, such as Google Drive, Box, Dropbox, Notion or Microsoft 365, or a file attached in the Slack thread or an email. It compares them with the standard terms you point it to.

### Does it give legal advice?

No. It gives a first pass that shows where a contract differs from your standard. A lawyer on your team decides what to accept, change or reject.

### Can it suggest replacement wording?

Yes, if you ask. It can draft fallback wording for a clause from your approved language, and your legal team reviews it before anything goes to the other side.
