# Org Chart and Team Pages That Stay Current

## How do you keep the org chart current?

To keep the org chart current, set up a Loop in Maito. On your schedule it compares your HR system, such as Gusto or BambooHR, with your team pages in Notion, Confluence or Box, lists who joined, left or moved, asks you to approve, and then updates the pages and the chart.

## Example

Loop run: Nov 1, 9:00 AM · Monthly team page check

**Maito** (9:00 AM):

Gusto and the Notion team pages differ on 6 people.

**Joined (2):** Mina (Design) and Omar's new analyst Kofi. Neither has a page yet.  
**Left (1):** Alex (Engineering) is still listed as Payments lead.  
**Moved teams (3):**  
• Jo, Support to Customer Success  
• Sam, Support to Success Ops  
• Ravi, Sales to Partnerships

**Catch:** Alex is also named as the escalation contact on the Payments on-call page. Someone needs to choose a replacement.

Drafts of all 6 page updates are ready in Notion as suggestions. Nothing is changed yet.

**Rosa** (9:25 AM):

Approve the 5 moves and joins. Hold Alex until Leo names a contact.

**Maito** (9:26 AM):

Applied the 5 updates. I asked Leo who takes the Payments escalation contact and I'll update the page once he answers.

## What it won't do

Maito can only match what the HR system shows. It does not decide who leads a team, and it asks when two sources conflict.

### Which HR systems does it read?

It uses a skill with a login or API key in the Vault. Gusto and BambooHR (private beta) are examples.

### Does it change pages on its own?

It proposes the changes in Slack and edits the pages only after you approve them.

### What about people on hold?

You can tell Maito to hold one change, such as a leaver with no named contact, and it leaves that page alone.
