## How do you log payment promises and invoice disputes?

To log payment promises and invoice disputes, let Maito read replies to your reminders. A reply like "I'll pay Friday" or "this was damaged" becomes a dated case with the invoice attached. The chase for that invoice pauses, and a task goes to your tracker for a person to check.

**Logged:**

• Possible dispute: $250 difference, no reason given.

Catch: the $250 matches a credit note in their July order that's still unapplied to this invoice. Source: Hooli's email and the accounting software.

Reminders for 4402 are paused. I haven't changed the balance.

**Omar** (2:52 PM):

the credit note is valid. Draft a corrected invoice for $1,300.

**Maito** (2:55 PM):

Corrected invoice draft for $1,300 is ready for your review, with the credit note referenced. On Oct 23 I'll check whether payment arrived and tell you either way.
