## How do you manage your editorial calendar?

To manage your editorial calendar, point Maito at the calendar in Notion. Each Monday it lists the pieces due this week, which are late and which are waiting on edits or legal, and names the one most likely to miss its date. It can remind writers and editors in Slack once you say so.

**Maito** (8:30 AM):

**Late: 2**  
• Transit budget piece (Marcus), 3 days late  
• Library hours brief (Ana), 1 day late

**Waiting on legal: 1**  
The Harbor profile has been with legal since Oct 14.

## What it won't do

It is only as current as the calendar. If statuses aren't updated there, Maito can't know a piece is late or waiting.

## Questions

### Which calendar does it read?

It reads the calendar where your team already keeps it, such as Notion, Confluence or Box. You don't need a new template.

### Will it chase writers on its own?

It reminds people when you ask it to. In the example it asked first, then sent reminders after the editor said yes.

### Can it run daily instead of weekly?

Yes. It runs as a Loop on a schedule you choose, and you can change the day or time in Slack.
