To track stock transfers between stores, set a weekday check in Maito. It reads your transfers, finds any sent but not received after your cutoff, and any received with different quantities. It posts them to Slack with the shops, items and days open, so units stop going missing. ## How it's done today One shop marks stock out and the other forgets to receive it, so totals drift. ## What Maito does 1. List open transfers by transfer number 2. Match units sent to units received 3. Flag transfers unconfirmed after 2 days 4. Post a short list to chase ## Example Loop run: Weekdays 5:00 PM · Transfer check **Maito** (5:00 PM): 3 transfers are open. • **T-0881** Downtown to Eastside, 24 candles. Sent Oct 14, not received. 5 days. • **T-0884** Warehouse to Downtown, 60 tea tins. Sent 60, received 56, confirmed Oct 16. • **T-0890** Eastside to Downtown, 12 mugs. Sent today, normal. Catch: Eastside sold 4 tins of the same tea on Oct 17 that Downtown's system says arrived on Oct 16. Those 4 could be the missing ones, but I can't confirm that from the records. If a shop never logged the send, Maito can't see the transfer. ## Questions ### Which systems does it use? Two days is a common rule, and you can say whether weekends count. ### Does it change the inventory records? No. It reports open and mismatched transfers.
