# Course Enrollment Report: Waitlists and Drop-Offs

## How do you prepare course enrollment reports?

To prepare course enrollment reports, connect Maito to your student system and a spreadsheet. Each Monday it lists courses that are full with waitlists, courses below their minimum, and where a waitlist is large enough for another section. You get a summary in Slack and a spreadsheet. It moves no students.

Loop run: Monday 8:00 AM · Weekly enrollment report

**Maito** (8:00 AM):

**Winter courses, Oct 19**

**Full with waitlists: 3**  
• Algebra II: 28 of 28, waitlist 9  
• Chemistry: 24 of 24, waitlist 6  
• Studio Art: 20 of 20, waitlist 4

**Below minimum (8): 2**  
• Latin II: 5  
• Robotics Club: 6

Catch: 9 students are waitlisted for Algebra II, which is enough for a second section. Mr. Chen's schedule has an open period 3.

## What it won't do

It reports what the system shows at the time it runs. It can't tell you why students dropped.

## Questions

### Where does it get enrollment numbers?

From your student system, such as Canvas, using a skill with a login or API key in the Vault. It can also save results to Airtable or Microsoft 365.

### Will it move students off a waitlist?

No. It reports the numbers and drafts proposals or notes. People make enrollment changes.

### Can I set the minimum class size?

Yes. Tell Maito the minimum for each course and it flags anything below it in every report.
