# Weekly Inventory Reorder Draft From Your Count

## How do you propose a reorder from a weekly count?

To propose a reorder from a weekly count, set a Loop for count day. Maito posts the count sheet in Slack, compares counts with par levels, sales and open orders from your inventory system, and drafts the order with notes on unexplained variances. Nothing is ordered until you approve.

## How it's done today

Staff count whatever they notice and the manager orders by gut feel.

## What Maito does

## Example

Loop run: Thursday 2:30 PM · High-value count

**Maito** (3:40 PM):

Counts are in for 18 items. Draft order to Stark Logistics: $1,284.60.

• Salmon, 12 lb on hand, par 30, nothing on order: order 20 lb  
• Ribeye, 9 lb vs par 24: order 15 lb  
• Burrata, 14 on hand, par 20, 12 on order arriving Fri: no order  
• Olive oil, 2 cans, par 4: order 2

Variance: ribeye was 6 lb below what sales say we should have. Waste log shows 1.5 lb trimmed. About 4.5 lb is unexplained.

Catch: burrata looks short, but the 12 on order land tomorrow. Ordering again would put 26 on hand, and the cheese lasts about 5 days.

**Marco** (3:52 PM):

cut salmon to 15 lb, we have a slow weekend. Rest is fine.

## What it won't do

It trusts the counts staff enter. It can flag a gap between counts and sales but can't tell where the missing stock went.

No. It drafts it and waits for your approval.

### Does it count open orders?

Yes. It subtracts quantities already on order and arriving, so it doesn't order twice.

### Which systems does it use?

Shopify for point of sale and inventory, plus Airtable or Microsoft 365 for the count sheet and par levels.
