## How do you build a supplier scorecard?

To build a supplier scorecard, ask Maito in Slack with your order data. It calculates on-time and in-full delivery and price changes by supplier, and separates misses the supplier caused from changes your team made. You get one scorecard to use in the next supplier review.

Late deliveries and price rises are remembered by whoever was most annoyed.

• **Soylent Labs** 94 percent

Catch: 9 of Vandelay's 14 late orders had their date changed by us after ordering, so I counted them as on time. Their real record is 86 percent, but the price rise is on every order since Aug 8.

## How to set it up

Nothing to set up. Ask in Slack or by email whenever you need it.

## What it won't do

It can't judge quality or service that isn't in your data. Missing delivery dates will limit the score for that supplier.

## Questions

### Where does the data come from?

Your spreadsheets in Airtable or Microsoft 365, and an ERP such as NetSuite through a skill with a login or API key in the Vault.

### How does it treat late orders you changed yourself?

It marks those as your changes and leaves them out of the supplier's misses.

### Can it score every supplier at once?

Yes. Ask for all suppliers, or one, for a period you choose.
