## How do you write podcast show notes?

To write podcast show notes, tell Maito where transcripts land. For each new episode Maito reads the transcript, writes the summary and chapters with timestamps, picks clip ideas with start and end times, flags facts that conflict inside the episode, and posts the notes for your producer to edit.

## What it won't do

It works from the transcript, so transcription errors carry over. It doesn't edit audio or publish the episode.

## Questions

### How does it know a new episode arrived?

It watches the folder in your file tool, such as Google Drive, and runs when a transcript is added.

### Does it cut the clips?

No. It picks the moments and timestamps, and your team cuts them.

### What if the guest contradicts themselves?

It leaves the disputed fact out of the notes and asks your producer to confirm.
