How do Tasklet credits work, and what makes the bill grow?

Every action a Tasklet agent takes costs credits, and the cost climbs with higher intelligence levels, longer multi-step tasks, web browsing, and automations that run often. Monthly credits don't roll over.

When credits run out, new requests and automations pause. Tasklet emails at 80%, 95%, and 100% of the allowance. Extra one-time credits cost $5 per 1,600, last a year, and get used only after the monthly ones. Each thread also has a daily cap, 4,000 credits by default, that admins can change.

The cheapest way to grow is a bigger monthly plan: plan credits come at 400 per dollar, one-time credits at 320.

What would a team of 10 pay for a month of Tasklet?

As of October 2026, ten people on Tasklet Pro pay $100 a month and share 40,000 credits. The same ten people on Maito pay $149 for the workspace, plus model usage on their own AI provider account.

Maito

$149 per month + provider usage

  • No per-person fee at ten people or at fifty
  • $20 in monthly cloud credits for sandboxes and web search
  • Models bill on the AI provider account you connect

Tasklet Pro

$100 per month

  • 40,000 credits for the whole organization
  • 600 bonus credits on days someone opens the app
  • One-time top-ups at $5 per 1,600 credits

A lighter team could stay on Starter at $25. A team that browses the web a lot or runs agents every hour will need more than Pro. Both prices are monthly and before tax.

Is there a free Tasklet plan or trial?

Tasklet has no lasting free plan, but it starts every organization with limited trial credits and no payment, enough to create a first agent and connect tools.

Maito has no free plan or trial. It costs $149 per workspace per month.

Who counts as a Tasklet seat or user?

Nobody pays per seat on Tasklet. Every plan includes unlimited members, and they all spend from one organization credit pool.

Any member can invite teammates unless an owner or admin limits invitations to admins. Admins see usage across agents and members, and only people with billing access can buy credits.

How does Maito's price compare to Tasklet pricing?

Maito and Tasklet both charge per workspace or organization with unlimited people. Tasklet starts lower at $25 and folds models into credits; Maito is $149 and your AI provider bills the models.

The difference is what the price buys. Tasklet is a set of agents your team manages in its web and Mac app. Maito is an AI employee the whole company asks in Slack, by email, and in Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Codex, Grok, and Muse, and its work includes tested pull requests on your product.
