To file a bug from a Slack thread, mention Maito in the thread. It reads the conversation, writes the steps to reproduce, attaches the screenshots and stack traces people pasted, searches the tracker for duplicates, and files one ticket linked back to the thread. It works with Linear, Jira and GitHub.
How it's done today
Bugs mentioned in chat never reach the tracker.
What Maito does
- Read the thread it was mentioned in
- Pull the details, logs and links
- Check for an existing ticket
- File a new one or add to the old one

It only reads a thread after someone mentions it there. Details nobody wrote in the thread, like the exact version or account, are listed as missing instead of guessed.
Questions
Linear, Jira and GitHub issues, connected through MCP. You pick the project it files into.
It links the earlier ticket and tells you instead of filing a duplicate. If the old one was closed, it points out the possible regression.
Only when you ask. It can suggest who fixed something similar, and you decide.
