How do you send appointment reminders when a groom is due?
To send appointment reminders when a groom is due, set a weekly Loop. Maito finds pets past their usual rebooking interval who aren't booked, writes one reminder per household naming only the pet that is due, adds open slots, and posts the drafts in Slack for approval.
How it's done today
The owner remembers regulars, but mixes up which pet in a multi-pet household is due.
What Maito does
- Find pets reaching their repeat interval
- Skip those already booked
- Check household exceptions and notes
- Draft reminder texts for approval
Example
Loop run: Monday 10:00 AM · Rebooking check
17 pets are due, in 14 households. 12 reminder texts are drafted. • 9 households with one pet: standard reminder • 3 households with two pets on different intervals: one text each, naming only the pet that is due. Chen: Biscuit (6 weeks), Pepper not due until Nov 7. Okafor: Rex (4 weeks). • 3 pets skipped, already booked this week Example draft: Hi Mrs. Okafor, Rex is due for his groom. We have Thu Oct 22 at 9:00 or Sat Oct 24 at 11:30. Reply with the time you'd like. Catch: Rex has a note, matting, 4 weeks max. He last came Sep 17, so he is already 2 weeks overdue. From the booking system. Approve the 12 texts, or edit any first?
@Maito approve all except Okafor. I'll call her myself about the matting.
11 texts are approved and sending now. Okafor is left for you, and I'll remind you on Wednesday if Rex still isn't booked.

What it won't do
It follows the interval and notes in your booking system. It can't tell if a client has moved or stopped coming.
Questions
No. It drafts them and sends only after you approve.
It sends one text per household and names only the pet that is due.
Calendly or Cal.com for booking history, Twilio for text messages, and Gmail, Microsoft 365 or Superhuman Mail for email.
