Weekly client status report
Each Friday, a status report for every client project.
Client delivery · Consulting · On a schedule · Updated
How do you write a weekly client status report?
To write a weekly client status report, tell Maito which clients and when. Each week Maito reads the task board and the project notes for each client, drafts a report with status, what finished and what's next, flags where the notes and the board disagree, and posts it for you to review and send.
How it's done today
Project leads write the same status email every week.
What Maito does
- Read the project tracker and notes
- Draft progress, risks and next steps
Example
Loop run: Friday 3:00 PM · Weekly client status
Three drafts for you to send. Full text attached: status-acme.docx, status-globex.docx, status-initech.docx. Acme (green): 14 of 18 tasks done. Pricing model v2 delivered Wednesday. Next: store-cluster review Oct 27. Globex (green): survey closed at 212 responses, target was 200. Next: analysis, due Oct 28. Initech (amber): data room access was requested Oct 9 and is still open, 10 days. Two analysis tasks are blocked on it. The catch: Initech's meeting notes from Tuesday say 'on track'. The Asana board says otherwise. I used the board, so the draft asks them for access by Oct 23. Which do you want to soften?
@Maito keep Initech amber but lead with the ask, not the delay.
Reworked. It now opens with 'To keep the Nov 6 readout, we need data room access by Oct 23.' The delay comes second. Updated file attached.

What it won't do
When the board and the notes disagree it uses the board and tells you. It can't see problems nobody wrote down.
