Lindy pricing

Lindy bills every active user, from $29.99 a month. What does Lindy pricing add up to for a team? And who counts as a seat?

How much does Lindy cost?

As of October 2026, Lindy pricing starts at $29.99 a month for each active user in the workspace, and each seat adds 3,000 credits to a pool the whole team shares. Extra credits cost $10 per 1,000. Enterprise pricing is custom.

New accounts start with $50 in credits for seven days, without a credit card. After that, every person who uses Lindy is a paid seat, all on one monthly bill. Lindy lists no annual discount.

So the number that matters is not $29.99. It's $29.99 times the people who will mention Lindy in a month, plus any top-ups once the pool runs dry.

How do Lindy credits work, and what makes the bill grow?

Lindy spends credits on every task, from 2 credits for a quick lookup to 2,500 for a big build, and the monthly pool resets without rolling over. The bill grows with each new person who uses Lindy and with months heavy enough to need top-ups.

Lindy sorts work into three sizes. Everyday asks such as summaries, lookups, and reply drafts use 2 to 250 credits. Deep work such as a competitor report or a proposal from a call uses 250 to 1,000. Big builds such as dashboards, decks, internal tools, and heavy scheduled workflows use 1,000 to 2,500.

When the pool hits zero, Lindy pauses anything that spends credits until the next cycle, or until an admin tops up at $10 per 1,000 or moves to more monthly credits. Admins can also cap how much each person draws from the pool.

Three things push a Lindy bill up:

  • More people mentioning Lindy, since each one becomes a seat
  • Big builds and scheduled workflows, which sit at the top of the credit range
  • Top-ups in busy months, at $10 per 1,000 credits

What would a team of 10 pay for a month of Lindy?

As of October 2026, ten active users on Lindy's starting rate cost $299.90 a month and share 30,000 credits. The same ten people on Maito cost $149 a month for the workspace, plus model usage on the team's own AI provider account.

Maito

$149 per month + provider usage

  • One workspace price whether ten or forty people ask
  • $20 in cloud credits each month for coding sandboxes and web search
  • Model usage goes on your own AI provider bill

Lindy Team

$299.90 per month

  • $29.99 for each of the ten active users
  • 30,000 pooled credits, enough for 12 big builds at 2,500 each
  • Every 1,000 credits past the pool adds $10

If an eleventh person mentions Lindy in Slack, the Lindy bill goes to $329.89 once their free week ends. The Maito bill stays at $149. Both figures are monthly and before tax.

Is there a free Lindy plan or trial?

Lindy has no lasting free plan. As of October 2026, it gives new accounts $50 in credits that last seven days, with no credit card required.

Teammates who join from Slack each get their own one-time free week before their seat is billed. People who sign up directly are billed right away, and someone who comes back after being removed goes straight to a paid seat.

Maito has no free plan or trial. It costs $149 per workspace per month.

Who counts as a Lindy seat?

A Lindy seat is anyone who signs up, joins the workspace, or mentions Lindy in Slack. As of October 2026, each seat costs from $29.99 a month.

That last rule is the one teams miss. A colleague who tags Lindy once in a busy channel becomes a seat after the free week. Removing someone keeps their seat billed until the paid cycle ends, with no mid-cycle refund, and Lindy won't add back a person an admin removed.

How does Maito's price compare to Lindy pricing?

Maito charges $149 a month for the whole workspace with unlimited people, while Lindy charges from $29.99 for each active user. Lindy's credits include model usage; with Maito, your AI provider bills the models directly.

With Maito, everyone in the company can ask in Slack, by email, or from Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Codex, Grok, and Muse without anyone becoming a seat. The $149 includes $20 in cloud credits each month for coding sandboxes and web search, and you can buy more. An optional $2,999 assisted setup connects your tools for you.

The break-even comes early. At five active users, Lindy costs $149.95, just above Maito's workspace price. From there, every Lindy seat widens the gap, while Maito's cost moves only with the model usage your team generates.

Lindy's credit bundle is simpler to budget if you'd rather not hold an AI provider account. For the full feature comparison, read Maito vs Lindy. For other options, read Lindy alternatives.
