How do you prepare course enrollment reports?
To prepare course enrollment reports, connect Maito to your student system and a spreadsheet. Each Monday it lists courses that are full with waitlists, courses below their minimum, and where a waitlist is large enough for another section. You get a summary in Slack and a spreadsheet. It moves no students.
How it's done today
Admins build reports by hand.
What Maito does
- Pull enrollment data
- Compare with capacity
- Flag full and low courses
Example
Loop run: Monday 8:00 AM · Weekly enrollment report
Winter courses, Oct 19 Full with waitlists: 3 • Algebra II: 28 of 28, waitlist 9 • Chemistry: 24 of 24, waitlist 6 • Studio Art: 20 of 20, waitlist 4 Below minimum (8): 2 • Latin II: 5 • Robotics Club: 6 Catch: 9 students are waitlisted for Algebra II, which is enough for a second section. Mr. Chen's schedule has an open period 3. Source: Canvas enrollment as of 7:45 AM. Attached: enrollment-oct19.xlsx, also saved to Airtable. I haven't moved anyone. Do you want a draft note to the Latin II and Robotics families?
@Maito Hold the notes until Thursday. Draft the Algebra II second section proposal.
Drafted. It proposes a section in period 3 with 9 students. Attached: algebra-section-proposal.docx.

How to set it up
- Ask your agent
“Every Monday at 8, pull winter course enrollments from Canvas, compare them with capacity, and send the report to the office. Flag courses that are full or below 8 students.”
- Connect spreadsheet
- Airtable
- Microsoft 365
- Use student system
- Canvas
No MCP server needed. Ask your agent to save a skill with the steps, then add the login or API key in Settings → Vault.

What it won't do
It reports what the system shows at the time it runs. It can't tell you why students dropped.
Questions
From your student system, such as Canvas, using a skill with a login or API key in the Vault. It can also save results to Airtable or Microsoft 365.
No. It reports the numbers and drafts proposals or notes. People make enrollment changes.
Yes. Tell Maito the minimum for each course and it flags anything below it in every report.
