How do you find and explain CRM sync conflicts?
To find and explain CRM sync conflicts, set a Loop that checks your sync logs every few minutes. When one customer record differs between the CRM and accounting, Maito posts both values, who edited each and when, which system owns the field, and asks the person who knows which is right.
How it's done today
Someone notices wrong addresses on invoices weeks later, after the two systems overwrote each other.
What Maito does
- Spot a record changed differently in both systems
- Show both values with times and the field owner
- Ask the owner to pick one
- Check the loop has stopped
Example
Loop run: Sync log · Repeated conflict on one customer
Acme Dental's billing address has been overwritten 3 times since Monday. • CRM: 22 Pine St, Suite 4 (edited by Sales, Mon 9:12 AM) • Accounting: 22 Pine Street (edited by Omar, Tue 3:40 PM) The two syncs keep replacing each other, and the last change was 12 minutes ago. Per the mapping, accounting owns billing address, so the accounting value should win. Catch: INV-2291 for $3,860 was emailed this morning with the address missing 'Suite 4', and the customer's AP team often rejects invoices without it. From the sync logs and the field mapping. Which address is right, Ben?
@Maito Suite 4 is right. I'll fix accounting. Tell me when the loop stops.
Will do. I'll check the next two sync runs and post here whether the address holds. I'll also draft a corrected-invoice note for INV-2291 for Omar to approve.

What it won't do
It can only see what the logs and records show. It can't tell which value is correct without a person confirming.
Questions
No. It reads the logs and the records and asks. Your team fixes the data.

From your field mapping. You tell it once, for example that accounting owns billing address.
