Send a weekly metrics digest
Key numbers for the company every Monday, with what changed and why.

How do you send a weekly metrics report?
To send a weekly metrics report, set up a Loop in Maito that runs every Monday. It pulls numbers from BigQuery or Supabase and revenue from Stripe or PayPal, compares them with the prior week, and posts a short digest in Slack that explains the biggest changes and flags one-off items.
How it's done today
Someone screenshots dashboards into Slack.
What Maito does
- Pull key metrics
- Compare with last week
- Explain big changes
Example
Loop run: Monday 8:00 AM · Weekly metrics digest
Weekly metrics, Oct 12 to 18 • Net revenue: $184,200, up 3% (Stripe) • Sign-ups: 1,092, down 5% from 1,149 • Churn: 1.9%, flat Sign-ups fell because Monday Oct 12 was a US holiday; that day had 112 sign-ups versus about 230 on a normal Monday. The other days were level. The catch: revenue includes a single $7,200 refund to Vandelay Imports on Oct 14. Without it, revenue is up 7%. The Stripe note says it was a duplicate annual charge. From BigQuery for sign-ups and churn, Stripe for revenue.
@Maito Is the Vandelay refund a one-off?
Looks like it. It is the only duplicate-charge refund in the last 90 days, and Vandelay has had no other refund in that time. I can't see why the charge doubled; that's a question for Omar.

How to set it up
- Ask your agent
“Every Monday at 8, pull last week's key numbers from BigQuery and Stripe: revenue, sign-ups and churn. Compare with the week before, explain big changes and post in #leadership.”
- Connect database
- BigQuery
- Supabase
- Connect billing
- Stripe
- PayPal

What it won't do
Maito explains changes using the data it can reach. Causes that live outside those tools, like a campaign nobody wrote down, need a person to add.
Questions
Whatever you tell it to track, such as revenue, sign-ups and churn. It reads them from your database and your billing tool.
Yes. A Loop can post to a Slack channel or send the digest by email.
It looks for causes in the data, such as a holiday or a single large refund, and says so. When it cannot find a cause, it says that.
