How do you send a post-event follow-up?

To send a post-event follow-up, tell Maito where the recordings and registration list are. It drafts a thank-you email with links to the sessions and three feedback questions, notes missing recordings, and offers a separate version for people who didn't attend. You review both before anything is sent.

How it's done today

Follow-ups go out a week late.

What Maito does

  1. Draft thank-you
  2. Attach recordings
  3. Send survey and summarize answers

Example

Rosa 9:00 AM

@Maito Draft the follow-up for yesterday's Summit. Recordings are in the Summit folder in Drive.

Maito APP 9:06 AM

Draft ready. Subject: "Thank you for joining Northstar Summit". It thanks the 312 attendees (out of 340 registered), links to 9 session recordings, and asks 3 questions: • How useful was the day, 1 to 5? • Which session was best? • What should we change next year? Catch: the recording of the closing panel isn't in the Drive folder, so I left it out and noted it in the draft. 28 registrants didn't attend. Want a second version for them with recordings only? Sources: Drive folder, registration list. Attached: followup-draft.docx. I haven't sent anything.

Rosa 9:15 AM

@Maito Yes, make the no-show version. I'll send both at 2.

Maito APP 9:17 AM

Attached: followup-noshow.docx. Both are waiting for you.

How to set it up

When something happens Send the post-event follow-up
Ask your agent

“After each event, draft a thank-you email with the recording links from Drive and a 3-question survey. Put the draft in #events for the organizer to send, then summarize the survey answers.”

What it won't do

It sends nothing on its own and can't judge which attendees matter most. Use your registration data for that.
