How do you answer press and partner requests?

To answer press and partner requests, have Maito watch the inbox it's copied on. For each request it drafts a reply using only the facts your team has approved, and routes questions it can't answer, such as a founder quote, to the right person. You get a draft for approval, with gaps listed.

How it's done today

Requests sit in the shared inbox for days.

What Maito does

  1. Read the request
  2. Pull approved facts and boilerplate
  3. Draft a reply or route to the right person

Example

Loop run: New email in partnerships@northstar.example

marketing
Maito APP 11:05 AM

Draft for approval. Dara at Hooli Weekly is writing about AI teammates at work. Deadline Oct 21. She asks three things: • Customer count: approved fact is 2,100 teams, as of September. • A founder quote: routed to Kate. I haven't drafted one. • Funding: not in our approved facts. I left it out. Draft: 'Hi Dara, thanks for reaching out. Northstar is used by 2,100 teams and works in Slack and email. Kate will follow up about a quote by Tuesday. Priya, Northstar.' Catch: Dara also wants a named customer reference. We only share names with permission, and only Acme has said yes. I didn't offer any.

Priya 11:20 AM

@Maito looks good, send it and ask Kate about the quote.

Maito APP 11:21 AM

Sent to Dara. I asked Kate in Slack for the quote by Tuesday, with Dara's questions attached.

How to set it up

When something happens Answer partner and press requests
Ask your agent

“When a press or partner request arrives in partnerships@northstar.example, draft a reply from our approved facts and post it in #marketing for approval. Funding and legal questions go to Kate.”

What it won't do

It knows only the facts you've approved and can't judge how a story will land. Quotes from named people are always written by that person.
