How do you check copy against your brand voice?

To check copy against your brand voice, paste the text in Slack and mention Maito. It compares the copy with your style guide and what it knows about your product, lists every break with the rule behind it, flags claims with no support, and returns a corrected version on request.

How it's done today

Brand lead reviews everything, or nothing.

What Maito does

  1. Read the copy
  2. Check words, tone, claims and product names against the guide
  3. Suggest fixes

Priya 11:02 AM

@Maito check this landing page copy against our brand guide: 'Northstar Flow is the best way to run your team's work. Trusted by 5,000 teams. Customize it in minutes. Start your free 30-day trial.'

Maito APP 11:04 AM

4 issues, plus one that isn't about wording. 1. 'Northstar Flow' is the old name. The guide says 'Northstar Workflows' since June. 2. 'the best way' is a superlative. The guide (section 4) bans them. Try 'a faster way'. 3. 'Customize' is US spelling. The guide uses British: 'customise'. 4. 'Trusted by 5,000 teams' has no support. The latest number in our shared notes is 2,100 teams, from the September update. Catch: the CTA says a free 30-day trial, but the pricing page says 14 days. One of them is wrong. Tone and the CTA verb pass.

@Maito apply 1 to 4 and leave the trial length open for Leo.
