How do you create a weekly marketing report?

To create a weekly marketing report, set a Maito Loop for Monday. It pulls sign-ups from your analytics tool, spend from your ad platforms and leads from your CRM, compares them with last week, and posts one message in Slack with the changes, likely causes and numbers that don't match.

How it's done today

Someone builds the same slide every Friday.

What Maito does

  1. Pull numbers from analytics, ads and CRM
  2. Compare with last week
  3. Explain the biggest changes

Example

Loop run: Friday 4:00 PM · Weekly marketing report

Maito APP 4:00 PM

Marketing, Oct 9-15 • Sign-ups: 412, up 12% from 368. 94 came from the Acme comparison page, which launched Oct 6. • Paid: $9,860 spend. Cost per sign-up $31.40, down 8% from $34.10. Retargeting is best: 58 sign-ups at $14. • HubSpot: 156 new leads, 41 marked qualified. Catch: PostHog shows 412 sign-ups but HubSpot only has 389 matching contacts. The 23 missing have no form source, and 19 of them used Safari. The HubSpot lead count is probably low. Totals above use PostHog. From PostHog, Supermetrics (Google, Meta) and HubSpot.

What it won't do

It reports and suggests causes. It can't prove one, and a tracking problem can make a metric look better or worse than it is.
