How do you check a deal's status in Slack?

To check a deal's status in Slack, mention Maito with the company name. It looks up the deal in your CRM, reads the recent email thread, and replies in the thread with the stage, amount, close date, owner, last activity and anything that has gone quiet or needs an answer.

How it's done today

People ping the rep, who looks it up.

What Maito does

  1. Find the deal
  2. Read recent activity
  3. Answer in the thread

Priya 11:05 AM

@Maito what's going on with the Acme deal?

Maito APP 11:05 AM

Acme: Negotiation, $40k, close date Nov 20, owner Dana. • Oct 8: last call with Hannah. • Oct 13: Acme's legal sent redlines on section 9, data residency and the liability cap. • Oct 14: Hannah emailed asking for our answer by Friday. Catch: Friday Oct 16 has passed and nobody has replied. The thread has been quiet for 5 days, with a deal this close to a Nov 20 close date. From HubSpot and the Gmail thread with Hannah.

Dana 11:08 AM

@Maito draft a short reply to Hannah. Don't send it.

Maito APP 11:09 AM

Draft is in your Gmail: apologizes for the delay, promises the data residency answer by Wednesday Oct 21, and asks for 20 minutes with their legal team. Check that Wednesday date with Leo first.
