How do you write a follow-up email after a sales call?
To write a follow-up email after a sales call, set Maito to start when your call notes land. It reads the transcript from Granola, Fireflies or Fathom, checks the deal in your CRM, and puts a draft in your email drafts that recaps what you promised, with dates and next steps.
How it's done today
Rep writes the recap from memory, often a day late.
What Maito does
- Read the call transcript or notes
- List what was agreed and what was promised
- Draft the email with next steps and attachments
Example
Loop run: Transcript ready · Acme discovery call, 47 min
Follow-up draft for the Acme call is in your Gmail drafts. Not sent. Subject: Next steps after today Hi Hannah, thanks for the time today. To recap: • We'll send pricing for 60 seats by Friday Oct 23. • Raj gets our security overview this week. • Next call: Tuesday Oct 27, 11:00 AM, with your legal contact. Catch: at 31:40 you told Hannah you'd check whether EU hosting is possible. It was an aside, so I added it as a fourth bullet. She also asked for 15% off. I left that out of the email. From the Granola transcript and the HubSpot deal.
@Maito move the call to Wednesday and drop the EU bullet, I'll handle that on the phone.
Updated in your drafts: next call is Wednesday Oct 28 at 11:00 AM, and the EU bullet is gone. I'll note the hosting question on the deal.

What it won't do
Maito only knows what the transcript captured. A promise made off the recording, or a misheard name, won't be in the draft.
Questions
No. The draft goes to your drafts folder in Gmail or Microsoft 365 for you to read and send yourself.
Granola, Fireflies, Fathom, Otter.ai, Read AI and Zoom. Maito reads the notes or transcript and quotes the timestamp when it picks up a promise.
Maito adds side commitments as bullets and flags them. Anything sensitive, such as a discount request, it leaves out of the email and tells you.
