How do you coach a rep from a sales call?
To coach a rep from a sales call, give Maito the call and your checklist, such as discovery questions. It reads the transcript, marks each item as covered or missed with timestamps, notes what went well and what to improve, and suggests wording for the next call.
How it's done today
Managers listen to a few calls a month at most.
What Maito does
- Read the transcript
- Check against your sales playbook
- Point out two things that went well and two to improve
Example
@Maito review my call with Acme against our discovery checklist.
Fathom transcript, 38 minutes, against the 7-point discovery checklist: 5 covered, 2 missed. Went well: • Budget: at 6:10 you asked what they'd spend if nothing changed, and got $30k to $40k. • Price objection at 21:40: you asked what the manual process costs. Hannah said 'about 12 hours a week.' To improve: • Decision process: not asked. • Timeline: she said Q1, but you didn't ask what happens if it slips. Catch: at 31:20 Hannah said she'd 'run it by Marcus in legal' and at 33:05 mentioned 'the board'. Neither person is in your notes.
@Maito give me two ways to ask about decision process next time.
• 'When you bought your last tool, who had to say yes?' • 'Besides you, who else needs to see this before the board?'

What it won't do
It reads text, not tone. Silence, hesitation and body language don't show up in a transcript. Coaching feedback is input for a manager.
Questions
Granola, Fireflies, Fathom, Otter.ai, Read AI or Zoom. Maito works from the transcript those tools produce.
Yes. Share your discovery or demo checklist once and save it as a skill so Maito scores every call against it.
Where the transcript has speaker labels, yes. Without them it sticks to the questions and objections it can see.
