How do you write personalized cold emails to a list?
To write personalized cold emails to a list, give Maito your spreadsheet of companies and what you're selling. It researches each company on the web, writes a first email with one line specific to that company, cites the source for it, and returns the drafts in a spreadsheet for you to review.
How it's done today
Reps send the same template to everyone, or spend 15 minutes per email.
What Maito does
- Research each company
- Find a real reason to reach out
- Draft a short email per company
Example
@Maito write first emails for the 20 companies in this sheet about our new API.
20 drafts attached: api-first-emails.xlsx. Each has one line only that company would get. Two examples: Acme (Hannah): 'Saw Acme opened a Rotterdam depot in September. If shipment data is still synced by hand between depots, our new API replaces that with one call.' Stark Logistics (Dev): 'Your engineering blog says you're moving off nightly batch exports. Our API streams updates as they happen.' Catch: Soylent Labs was acquired in August and its site now redirects. The contact you listed may no longer decide anything, so I marked that row yellow. Globex also appears twice under different spellings, so there are 19 distinct accounts. Sources are in column F. Nothing has been sent.
@Maito shorten the Stark one to two sentences.
'Dev, your blog says you're leaving nightly batch exports behind. Our new API streams changes as they happen. Worth 15 minutes?'

What it won't do
Personalization is only as good as what is public. Maito won't invent a fact, so quiet companies get a plainer first line.
Questions
No. It returns drafts with their sources. You review them and send from your own tools.
A sheet of around 20 to 50 works well. For a bigger list, send it in batches so each draft gets real research.
Maito says so and writes a plainer email instead of inventing a detail. It also flags duplicate rows and companies that were acquired.
