How do you file job photos and check what is missing?
To file job photos and check what is missing, have crews email them to Maito's address. It matches photos to the job using timestamps, files them, compares them with the required views, asks the crew for missing ones, and flags photos from other jobs.
How it's done today
The office hunts through messages to label photos by hand.
What Maito does
- Match each photo to the job from the sender and time
- Save it under the job with its timestamp
- Check the required before and after views
- List what's missing and ask the crew
Example
Loop run: New email from Luis · 7 photos
Filed 7 photos from Luis under job 2322, water heater replacement at 14 Pine Street (taken 12:58 to 1:41 PM). Required views for this job type: • Before, tank and area: received (2) • Old unit removed: received • New unit installed: received (2) • Data plate close-up: missing • Shutoff valve and discharge pipe: missing Catch: 2 photos were taken at 4:05 PM yesterday and look like the earlier Acme Park job. I did not file them. Which job are they from? I asked Luis for the 2 missing views. Source: the photos' timestamps and the job's checklist in the field service software.
@Maito those two are Acme Park job 2319, please file them there.
Filed under job 2319. That job now shows all required views, so I've marked its photo check complete.

What it won't do
It can't be sure a photo shows what it should. Wrong or blurry shots need a person to look.
Questions
By the photos' timestamps and the crew's schedule in Jobber. If unsure, it asks.
In your files tool, such as Google Drive or Dropbox, under the job.
It checks that each required view is present. Quality judgments stay with you.
