How do you localize a marketing campaign?
To localize a marketing campaign, give Maito the campaign files and your glossary. It adapts the copy for the new market rather than translating it word for word, rewrites idioms, uses local prices, dates and formal address, and flags offers and tone that a local reviewer should check.
How it's done today
Campaigns launch in one language only.
What Maito does
- Translate with your glossary
- Adapt examples, dates and currency
- Flag culture or legal issues
Example
@Maito adapt the Year-end planning campaign for France. The files and our glossary are in Drive.
French copy for the 3 emails and 5 ads is in year-end-fr.zip. I used the glossary: 'workspace' is 'espace de travail', 'Loop' stays 'Loop'. Prices are in euros and dates in French format, with vouvoiement as on the French site. Beyond translation: • Email 1 said 'hit it out of the park'. A baseball line doesn't work in French, so I rewrote it. • Ad 4's '$24 per seat' is now 22 euros. That conversion is mine, not an approved price. Two notes for local review: 1. Email 3 has a '20% off' offer. I added the end date, 'jusqu'au 30 novembre'. French rules on promotions are strict, so have someone local check it. 2. 'Planifier comme un chef' in Ad 2 may read as too casual. Should I send the files to Camille?

What it won't do
Maito isn't a substitute for local review. Promotions and legal wording differ by country, and prices it converts need your approval.
Questions
Idioms, currency, date formats, form of address and offer terms. It lists each change so you can see why it made it.
Yes. Share your glossary and the translated site, and Maito follows the terms you already use.
Yes. It can email them to a local reviewer and wait for their changes.
