How do you turn a pet booking message into one booking?
To turn a pet booking message into one booking, set a Loop on your bookings inbox. Maito finds the household and pets in your booking system, works out the grooming time each needs, picks a free slot with the right groomer, notes missing vaccination records, and drafts a reply for approval.
How it's done today
The owner copies each message into a spreadsheet and the calendar, and sometimes books the wrong pet.
What Maito does
- Read the request and find the household
- Match each named pet and its past services
- Check durations and notes against the calendar
- Draft a reply offering a valid slot
Example
Loop run: New email in bookings@northstar.example
New request from Linda Chen: both dogs, 'sometime this week, they're a mess.' Matched in the booking system • Biscuit, lab, 70 lb: full groom, 2.5 hours (last done Aug 29) • Pepper, poodle mix, 18 lb: bath and nails, 1 hour (last done Sep 12) Together that is 3.5 hours with one groomer, or 2.5 if Rae takes Pepper. Offer: Thu Oct 22, 9:00 to 12:30, Jess. Estimated $165 ($110 + $55). Catch: Biscuit's rabies shot expires Oct 24, and the notes say we need a current certificate. Linda needs to send the new one before Thursday. Draft reply, including the certificate request, is ready. Send it, Jess?
@Maito send it, but give her Friday 1:00 as a backup.
Added Friday at 1:00 as the backup. Your approval is recorded, so I've sent it. I'll hold both slots until noon tomorrow and book whichever she picks.

What it won't do
It only knows what's in your booking system and notes. It can't judge a pet's temperament or coat condition from a message.

It drafts the reply and slot. You approve before anything is sent to the customer.
