Turn walkthrough notes into a punch list
Walkthrough notes become tasks by room and trade, and an item only closes when the inspector accepts it.

How do you turn walkthrough notes into a punch list?
To turn walkthrough notes into a punch list, post them in Slack and mention Maito. It creates a task for each item in your task tracker, groups them by trade, marks first the ones due before an inspection, links probable duplicates for you to confirm, and sends each trade its list with locations and photos.
How it's done today
Handwritten notes turn into scattered messages that nobody tracks to completion.
What Maito does
- Split the notes into tasks by location
- Assign each to a trade
- Collect photo proof of completion
- Close only after inspection
Example
Loop run: None
@Maito Turn the walkthrough notes I just posted into a punch list. Unit 3 and the stairwell.
12 tasks created, grouped by trade. • Painter (4): touch-up at the entry, bedroom 2 corner, stairwell landing x2 • Electrician (3): outlet cover in kitchen, 2 dead hall lights • Flooring (2): lifted plank in hall, threshold at bath • Plumber (2): tub caulk, loose faucet handle • Carpenter (1): stairwell handrail bracket Catch: the stairwell handrail needs fixing before the fire inspection on Oct 28, so I've marked it first. Items 7 (Unit 3 tub caulk) and 11 (bath caulk) are probably the same, and I've linked them for you to confirm. Each task needs a completion photo and your sign-off before it closes.
@Maito Merge 7 and 11. Send the painter his list.
Merged, now 11 tasks. Painter's list sent with locations and photos.

What it won't do
It lists what your notes say. It does not walk the unit, so anything the notes leave out will not be on the list.
