How do you update future visits when a schedule changes?
To update future visits when a schedule changes, have the client email Maito's address. It reads the request, finds the recurring series in Jobber, previews which visits and invoices change, flags holidays and staffing conflicts, and edits nothing until you approve.
How it's done today
Staff edit one visit and forget the later ones in the series.
What Maito does
- Read the change request and effective date
- List the future visits and invoices affected
- Draft the series change for approval
- Notify assigned staff once approved
Example
Loop run: New email from Acme Law
Acme Law emailed: move cleaning from Tue and Fri to Mon and Thu, starting Nov 2. Preview through Dec 31: • 18 future visits change day • Monthly invoice stays $1,240, same number of visits • Assigned: Ana on Tue/Fri. She works Mon/Thu elsewhere, so 6 visits need a different cleaner Conflicts: • Nov 26 (Thanksgiving week): Thursday visit needs a decision • Dec 24 and Dec 31 fall on Thursdays Catch: the request doesn't say whether Oct 30 (Friday) is the last old visit. I assumed yes. Source: the client's email and the recurring series in the field service software.
@Maito skip Nov 26, assign Dee to the 6, and apply it.
Preview updated: Nov 26 skipped, Dee on 6 visits. Since this edits 18 visits, please confirm with approve and I'll apply it and tell Ana and Dee.

What it won't do
It can't decide how holidays or contract terms should be handled. Those calls stay with your team.
Questions
No. It posts a preview and waits for your approval.
It states its assumption, such as which visit is the last old one, and asks you to confirm.
Yes. It flags visits where the assigned person isn't free on the new day.
