How do you write a sales proposal after a call?
To write a sales proposal after a call, ask Maito in Slack. It reads what the customer asked for, prices each line from your price list in Drive, applies your discount rules, checks the CRM deal, and attaches a proposal document with the total and anything that needs approval.
How it's done today
Rep builds the quote in a spreadsheet, then copies it into a document.
What Maito does
- Read the call notes
- Pick products and quantities from the price list
- Apply discount rules
- Draft the proposal document
Example
@Maito write a proposal for Acme based on today's call.
Attached: acme-proposal.docx, standard terms included. • Platform, 60 seats at $35 a month: $25,200 a year • Onboarding: $3,000 • Premium support: $4,800 • List total: $33,000 • 10% off the platform line: minus $2,520 Total: $30,480. Prices from the price list in Drive; discount rule from company knowledge. Catch: Hannah asked for 15% on the call. Your rule caps reps at 10%, so the proposal says 10%. Anything above needs Kate. Not sent to Acme. You approve the price first.
@Maito ask Kate about the 15%, with the reason.
Asked Kate in Slack: 15% on 60 seats is a $3,780 discount, and Acme's competing quote is the reason. I'll update the proposal only if she says yes.

What it won't do
Maito prices only from the list and rules it has. A custom deal, a special term or a legal clause still needs a person.
Questions
From the price list in your files, such as Google Drive, Box, Dropbox, Notion or Microsoft 365, and discount rules Maito has learned from your team.
No. The proposal waits for your approval, and anything above your discount limit needs the person who approves it.
Maito keeps to the rule, flags the gap and can ask the approver for you, with the reason.
