Lindy vs Tasklet
Lindy and Tasklet both automate business work with AI, with very different pricing. Which one fits your team? And what does each cost as you grow?
Which is better, Lindy or Tasklet?
Lindy is better when each person wants help with their own inbox, calendar, and meetings. Tasklet is better when a few business jobs should run on their own at a price that doesn't grow with headcount.
Pick Lindy for
- Each person's inbox, calendar, and meetings
- Asking the agent inside Slack threads
- HIPAA, SSO, and SCIM for a vendor review
Pick Tasklet for
- Background jobs on webhooks and app events
- A whole team on one bill from $25 a month
- Picking the model for each thread
Lindy is an assistant for each person and a teammate in Slack channels, focused on email, calendars, and meetings, priced per active user. Tasklet is a set of persistent business agents you build in its own app, focused on background jobs, priced per organization.
Both started closer to workflow automation and moved toward agents you talk to. Lindy moved toward people: it sits in each person's inbox, calendar, and meetings, and in the team's Slack channels. Tasklet moved toward jobs: each agent owns a piece of work, such as invoices, lead routing, or reports, and runs it on triggers.
This guide is for a small finance or operations team choosing between personal assistants and background agents. If one of them already runs your bill reminders without anyone babysitting it, keep it. Prices, credits, and certifications below are as of October 20, 2026.
What is Lindy best at?
Lindy is best at the communication work around each person: inbox triage, scheduling, meeting notes, pre-call briefs, and follow-ups.
In Slack channels its work is shared with the team; in DMs it's personal. It also works by email and iMessage. Team and personal memory live in versioned files, and team skills are shared by admins.

What is Tasklet best at?
Tasklet is best at business agents that run in the background on schedules, webhooks, and incoming email, and at building small apps the team uses to see and approve their work.
Each agent has its own connections, knowledge, and memory, and you open new threads with it for new requests. It builds trackers, calculators, dashboards, and approval apps, browses on paid plans, and lets you choose models per thread from Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, and open-source labs.

How does recurring work differ in Lindy and Tasklet?
Lindy's routines start from a person's world, such as a finished meeting, a new email, or a calendar event. Tasklet's agents start from the business's world, such as a webhook, a schedule, an app event, or mail to a shared inbox.
Lindy's routines have a trigger, a prompt, and a destination, and personal and workspace routines deliver to different places. A dry run reads real data and holds back anything that writes or sends.
Tasklet's agents keep running in the cloud whether or not anyone has the app open, and a new deal or ticket can start one without a webhook.
Winner: Lindy for jobs tied to one person's meetings and mail. Tasklet for company processes that start in other apps.

Where does your team talk to Lindy and Tasklet?
Lindy answers in Slack channels, DMs, email, and iMessage, so requests stay where people already are. Tasklet agents are created and managed in Tasklet's web and Mac app, and Slack is one of the tools an agent can use.
A Lindy thread in a channel is visible to everyone in it, which makes handing work over easy. In Tasklet, someone opens the app and starts a thread with the agent that has the right access.
Winner: Lindy, for teams that live in Slack.

How do Lindy and Tasklet handle sharing?
Lindy shares by channel and file: Slack channel work and team files are visible to the team, while DMs and personal files stay private. Tasklet shares by agent: an agent starts private, and sharing it opens its threads, connections, and data to members.
Lindy lets you decide which actions in shared Slack threads run on their own and which wait for approval.
Tasklet lets you give members "can use" or "can manage" on an agent, so most people run it and a few change it. Creating a separate agent is the way to keep a client or a sensitive task apart.
Winner: Lindy for keeping one person's work private inside a shared tool. Tasklet for walling off a client or task in its own agent.

Is Lindy or Tasklet more secure?
As of October 2026, Lindy is SOC 2 Type II certified and offers a HIPAA agreement, SSO, and SCIM on Enterprise. Tasklet is SOC 2 compliant, has GDPR compliance in progress, and runs each agent in its own isolated environment.
Neither one lets models train on your data. Lindy encrypts data in transit and at rest; Tasklet keeps third-party model providers from training on what its agents send.
Winner: Lindy, for a security review that asks for a Type II certification, HIPAA, or SCIM.

Which is faster to set up, Lindy or Tasklet?
Tasklet is faster to start: sign up with trial credits and no payment, create an agent, and connect its tools. Lindy asks for a paid Slack plan on new installs, then every colleague joins from an invite and connects their own mail, calendar, and phone number.
Lindy's per-person setup is what gives each colleague inbox help, so the extra steps pay off for teams that want it. Tasklet asks more thought per agent, since someone writes its instructions and picks its triggers.
Winner: Tasklet. Nobody needs a paid Slack plan or a card to try it.

What do Lindy and Tasklet cost?
As of October 2026, Lindy costs $49.99 for each active user with 5,000 credits per seat, pooled, so ten people pay $499.90 a month. Tasklet costs $25 a month for 10,000 credits or $100 for 40,000, for the whole organization with unlimited members.

- 10 × $49.99, each seat bringing 5,000 credits
- 50,000 pooled credits a month
- Top-ups at $10 per 1,000 credits
Tasklet Pro
$100 per month for the organization
- 40,000 credits, unlimited members and agents
- Starter is $25 for 10,000 credits
- Extra credits at $5 per 1,600, good for a year
Lindy's bill rises with each person who mentions it in Slack, and its seats bring credits with them. Tasklet's price stays fixed by the credits you buy, and the models, browsing, and app building are what use them.
Winner: Tasklet for any team of more than two people.

How do Lindy and Tasklet handle the same overdue bills?
Ask Lindy and Tasklet to list overdue bills and draft internal reminders. B-1 ($300) and B-3 ($80) are overdue, $380 in total; B-2 isn't due for five days.
Lindy drafts from the person's inbox where the bills arrive. Tasklet runs it as a background agent, on a schedule or when a new bill email lands. If one person handles bills, Lindy fits; if it's a process nobody should have to remember, Tasklet does.
What do Lindy and Tasklet users say in reviews?
As of October 2026, Lindy holds 4.9 out of 5 on G2 across about 170 reviews and 1.7 out of 5 on Trustpilot across 40. Tasklet had no G2 or Trustpilot listing when we checked.
On G2, people credit Lindy with a quick start and automations that save them hours. Trustpilot reviews are mostly about credits that drain faster than expected, billing after cancellation, and slow support replies.

What carries over between Lindy and Tasklet?
Tasklet exports agents as a ZIP of instructions, files, and configuration; Lindy's team memory files carry over as text. Triggers and inbox connections are set up again.
Lindy's personal files stay with their owners.

Is there a Lindy or Tasklet alternative that handles personal follow-ups, recurring jobs, and code?
Yes. Maito does follow-ups through each person's own connections, runs recurring Loops, and fixes your product's code, for $149 per workspace with unlimited people, plus your AI provider's usage.
It lives in your Slack threads, in email, and in Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Codex, Grok, and Muse, on the AI provider you choose. The price includes $20 in cloud credits; there's no free plan.
Illustrative conversation, not a recorded product test.
@Maito the SaaS Summit lead list is in the shared drive. Draft a follow-up to each person I met, and tell me why the event signup form lost some entries.
Drafted 64 follow-ups in your Gmail, each mentioning what you talked about from your booth notes. The form dropped 11 entries whose company name had an ampersand. The webhook to HubSpot didn't encode it. PR #534 fixes the encoding and adds a test. I added the 11 people to HubSpot by hand.
