How do you gather facts on orders flagged as risky?
To gather facts on orders flagged as risky, let Maito watch for flagged orders. It pulls the risk flags, the buyer's order history and card use, notes any cancel deadline in your policy and drafts a confirmation email to the buyer. It does not say whether the order is fraud. You decide.
How it's done today
Staff search several screens and make a rushed call on whether to ship.
What Maito does
- Collect the flags and the customer's order history
- Hold the order per policy
- Summarize the evidence with sources
- Record the person's decision
Example
Loop run: Order flagged · #6230, $1,248.00
Order #6230 is flagged high risk and on hold: 3 espresso machines, $1,248.00, shipping to a freight forwarder in Miami. Flags: billing ZIP doesn't match the card; IP country differs from the shipping country. History: first order on this email. The same card was used on orders #6188 and #6204 (Oct 9 and 11). Both shipped; neither was disputed. Catch: your policy cancels held orders after 72 hours, which is tomorrow at 1:08 PM, and the cancel would refund the card automatically. From the store records. I'm not saying whether this is fraud. Draft below asks the buyer to confirm the shipping address by email. "Hi, please confirm the delivery address for order #6230."
@Maito Send the email. If there's no reply by noon tomorrow, I'll cancel.
Sent. #6230 stays on hold, and I'll post any reply here. I set a reminder for you at 11:30 AM tomorrow, before the cancel time.

What it won't do
It sees your store's records, not other merchants' data. Risk signals are evidence, not proof.
