How do you flag accounts at risk of leaving?
To flag accounts at risk of leaving, set Maito to run a weekly Loop. It reads usage, support tickets, CRM and billing, looks for signs such as falling logins, a champion who left or a failed payment, and posts the riskiest accounts. You get each account's reason, renewal date and amount.
How it's done today
Churn is noticed when the cancellation email arrives.
What Maito does
- Check usage trend, tickets, replies and renewal date
- Flag accounts with warning signs
- Say why each is flagged
Example
Loop run: Monday 8:00 AM · Weekly churn check
5 accounts look at risk. The top 3: • Acme ($48k, renews Nov 26): logins down 60% in 30 days. Their champion Priya left on Sept 30, and HubSpot shows no new contact. • Globex ($36k, renews Nov 18): 4 open tickets, 2 over a week old. • Initech ($22k): Stripe shows a failed card payment on Oct 15, retried twice. Hooli and Wonka Foods are also on the list, with lower usage. Catch: Acme looks quiet, not angry. No tickets and no complaints, which is why nobody noticed. Their renewal is in 38 days.
@Maito who is still active at Acme?
Amplitude shows 3 people active in the last 14 days: Marcus (Operations, 22 sessions), Lena (Finance, 9) and Dev (IT, 4). Only Dev is a contact in HubSpot. Want me to draft an intro to Marcus for you to send?

What it won't do
It reports signals, not certainty. An account can look fine on paper and still leave, so the list is a prompt to talk to people.
Questions
Usage from Amplitude, Mixpanel or PostHog, tickets from your support desk, CRM data from HubSpot, Salesforce, Attio or Pipedrive, and billing from Stripe or PayPal.
No. It posts the list to your team and you decide what to do.
Yes. Falling usage with no tickets is one of the signs it looks for.
